General Description:

ISI was approached by the client and told that they required a new Office and Showroom building at their second location in Uxbridge.  The first step ISI made was to produce preliminary design drawings and specifications for a building that would meet the clients current and future growth requirements.  After the preliminary design review and budget costing was completed, ISI assembled a design and consulting team that worked together with the clients input to produce drawings that met code and stayed within the set budget.  The design also needed to integrate the clients product line for both the exterior and interior wall assemblies.  ISI was than hired as the construction manager to insure that the design was implemented correctly and within budget.       

Design Highlights:

• The building is 50' wide x 125' long and consists a gable frame design with multiple steel framed canopies and second floor framing which support hollow core concrete panels.
• The design divides the floor space in two parts with the front portion dedicated to the Offices and Showroom/Sales area while the back portion is designed to facilitate all of the Warehouse and Storage requirements.
  
• The main building roof assembly is standing seam with screw down roofs for most of the canopies excluding the North/West canopy which was designed with a built-up roof and supports the air conditioning units.
• The exterior wall assembly is a combination of insulated panel above a cavity wall systems with a stone facing. 
• The Front portion, ground floor area includes 11' high ceilings, custom steel staircase with stainless steel railing, multiple stone feature walls and custom designed sales counter with wood/stone feature fascia.
