General Description:

ISI was asked to provide a competitive bid for the design, supply and erection of this structure and was awarded the project after coming in as low bid against 4 other firms.  Although originally told we could expect detailed architectural drawings, ISI was soon asked to produce design drawings which could be used to insure the proper integration of the interior assemblies and exterior cavity wall.      

Design Highlights:

• The building is 50' wide x 90' long and consists a gable frame design with second floor framing which supports hollow core concrete panels.
• The design divides the floor space in two parts with the front portion dedicated to the Offices and Sales area.  The back portion will act as the Warehouse and Equipment Maintenance area.
• The roof assembly is standing seam with integrated roof curbs supporting the roof top mechanical units.
• The exterior wall assembly for the front Office portion is a full height cavity wall assembly with architectural block veneer.  The Warehouse portion is a is a combination of architectural block, single skin steel panel and double skin 2 hr. fire steel panel assembly.
