General Description:

Mario was approached by the client and told that they required a new Manufacturing Plant in Uxbridge.  The first step Mario took was to produce preliminary design drawings and specifications for a building that would meet the clients current and future growth requirements.  After the preliminary design review and budget costing was completed, Mario assembled a design and consulting team that worked together with the clients input to produce drawings that met code and stayed within the set budget.  Mario was able to be the single point of contact that brought the client, consultants, European automation supplier and contractors together to create a state of the art manufacturing facility. 

Design Highlights:

• The building is 158' wide x 138' long x 41' high and consists a single slope frame design.
  
• The design divides the floor space in multiple sections, automatic manufacturing,  two storey amenities, three storey control rooms and Mech/Elect. areas. 
  
• The main building roof assembly is standing seam
  
• The exterior wall assembly is a combination of steel wall panel above a 4' high concrete dado wall. 
  
• The automated equipment bases and foundations required thousands of meters of concrete.
  
• Coordination of not only local contractors but European automation suppliers and installers.
