General Description:

ISI was asked to design a framing systems that could enclose an existing conveyor assembly that needed to be extended to the exterior of the main building.  The purpose of the enclosure was to protect the conveyor extension and contents running on the conveyor from the elements.  ISI's solution was to custom design a cold formed framed structure that could be set on a exterior concrete slab.  The design was able to meet all of the clients needs while having a considerably lower overall budget when comparing it to the initial conventional design. 

Design Highlights:

• The Enclosure was completely framed using cold formed channels which created the columns, wall framing and roof framing.
• All the framing was custom designed by ISI. 
  
• The walls and roof were enclosed with single skin steel cladding with blanket insulation.
  
• ISI was able to design, supply and install the structure within 3 weeks.
